At Missoula Food Bank & Community Center, we believe that no one should have to face hunger — and that those who do deserve to be heard. Right now, delays in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits are leaving many individuals and families struggling to put food on the table.
We are gathering stories from people directly affected by these delays to help shine a light on the real human impact and to urge our government to release contingency funding that ensures SNAP benefits reach those who need them, when they need them.
We understand that being asked to share your story can be difficult and that the responsibility to drive change shouldn’t fall on those already facing food insecurity. If you choose to share with us, know that your voice will be treated with care, dignity, and respect.
This short form helps us connect with people who may be willing and ready to share their story — either publicly or privately — as part of our efforts to advocate for stronger, more responsive food assistance systems.
Thank you for considering adding your voice to this effort. Your experience matters and can make a real difference. Please know that we may not be able to reach out to every entry and we apologize for this capacity restraint.
