EmPower Place is a museum-library-food bank collaboration to feed bodies, minds, and community. This project brings together the powerful collaboration of community change makers from the University of Montana and the City of Missoula, committed to closing knowledge, opportunity, and achievement gaps for our most economically vulnerable youth. Missoula Food Bank & Community Center, Missoula Public Library, and the University of Montana (UM) spectrum Discovery Area with its parent university organization the UM Broader Impacts Group have joined forces to create a dynamic learning center at the Food Bank’s newly opened and expanded facility.

WIC Satellite Clinic
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is a nutrition education program that provides healthy foods, nutrition information and referrals to health and social services in the community. Missoula WIC has a satellite clinic at Missoula Food Bank & Community Center every Monday & Thursday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Walk-ins welcome!
